First night of curling is quickly approaching!
Successful discussions with the Sportsplex gave us a full 18 games rather than the initially offered 16, so we start on November 8th, and continue to December 20th, than start up on January 3rd in 2020. There are 9 games in each half. All games start at 7:15 p.m.
We have 10 teams and five sheets of ice this year, though for the first half, two teams are working with three members each. The members are assigned to teams in an effort to distribute skill levels as evenly as possible.
Welcome to Dave Eagles, Gord Schultz, and Natalie Prevost who are joining us as full-time members. If you know anyone who may wish to become a full time member, either for the full year, or one half, please put them in touch with me.
First night reminders:
The first two ends of the first night are practice so we only score out of six ends.
Fees for the full year are still $170 per person and include the year-end banquet. Please make cheques payable to NNECC.
Please bring your completed release form. You’ll find a copy attached.
Upcoming events such as our open house and clinic are posted on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/136337393520243/ Sign up if you haven’t already! Our webmaster, Al Kuiper, will take care of your access.

Make sure you fill out the Happy TC where you can log in and indicate which dates you will be away, to keep our Spares Captain for the first half, Phil Loucks, a “Happy Camper!”. If you haven’t received an email from him, send a request to firstname.lastname@example.org
